These cakes are constructed with inner dowels that support the base cake plates, on which the columns are mounted. The upper cake plates, holding the cake, snap on the columns for added support. Cakes with pillars are assembled at the reception site.
Cut the middle tier of the cake for best looking pictures with bride and groom, then disassemble and cut layers separately. As always, save the top layer frozen for a first anniversary treat. |
