Combining stacked layers and pillars adds height to your cake while keeping it elegant and traditional at the same time. The stacked layers have to be transported assembled to the reception site, and those separated by columns are assembled there.

Cut a middle tier of the cake or the top layer at the end of the stairs for best looking pictures with bride and groom, then disassemble and cut layers separately. As always, save the top layer frozen for a first anniversary treat.
