This project was based on SEO work, the modules header tags and html url rewrites were on our list while the shop needed to be moved from a subfolder to root. The header tags module is now scheduled to update via daily cron job to reflect any changes in the product database. A new structure had to be created for html rewrite as the former static index.html landing page was modified into a php page index.php pulling the category box in dynamically. The regular osCommerce index.php was renamed and the rewrites adjusted accordingly for Search Engine Optimization to work as expected.
