I set up a wholesale section where customers need to be approved to see the items in the wholesale category. Certain payment modules were only allowed for certain situations (like no paypal for wholesale), so I implemented that also. Features are links on the index to the about us page with teasers to follow, and html emails in the store design for contact us and admin. I also removed the stock osC buttons and replaced them by custom ones. The product listing colors were adjusted to match the site's theme.
