This is an Australian Tennis Specialist's shop. Design and layout were originally done by the store owner but later redesigned to a tennis court design in the latest blues which I then added to the site. He booked me for my famous 1 hour makeover for revamping his site and the look could be tremendously improved. In additition to that, I added a lot of extra features, contributions and modified contributions as well as SEO and security handling.
Eway was configured as the payment gateway, quantity pricebreaks with an intelligent custom coded BUY X GET ONE FREE detector added and administration made easier by the option to add all attributes needed at once.
I modded the infopages contrib that now makes it possible to assign infopages to different boxes or even to no box at all, but a page to be linked to for example from a banner.
The MS2.2 attribute handling is confusing, and adding attributes a slow and painful process. This module makes it possible to choose in step one those attribute groups during product creation/editing that fit the product.
In step 2, the admin chooses from each group the options that are available for the current product. It is possible to specify a price difference (add or delete to the base price for this option). If attribute sorting is needed, this module could be easily adapted to offer that too, including prefilling sorting values for options with many attributes.
This mod of the Price Breaks contribution makes it possible to combine the detection of price breaks and the buy X get 1 free offer. Calculation of the price is explained in an example. Catalog part will detect if it's a standard price break and adjust displaying the offer.
In this example the buy X get 1 free is shown. The intelligent code detects that this is a special offer and calculates the point where the free item is added. A short explanation invites the customer to take advantage of this offer.
This is a modification of the current infopages contribution. Not only is it possible to add pages to different boxes, but also to add them to banners or other links. Sorting has been adjusted, and the link opens to a preview window of the finished page.
When creating/editing an infopage, the box it is tied to can be chosen, sorting specified and title and description added. If an infopage will be tied to a banner or link on the site, not in a box, the title is only used for admin and isn't shown in catalog.
An example how two boxes look with infopage links specified for them. Links are sorted in the way specified in admin. In the center part of the page, infopages have been added as links to banners and images.
