An exciting project with a mod that adds single use attributes to a certain option for products, so model number can easily be found when ordering stock. The number of attributes needed can be preselected and any attribute can be easily deleted. Attribute price shows the actual price for this group of products, as there will only ever be one option group to choose from.
I also did my 1 hour makeover for this site which was a bunch of little things making the site so much nicer :-).
Select during product creation/editing in the area highlighted yellow if the special model included option group should be shown and if yes with how many options. In case this number is lower than the number of linked attributes in the database, the actual attributes will of course be shown, without cutting the list.
The selected number of options appears to be filled out, options are created and attached to this product only. When editing, removing an option name will unlink the attribute from the product. While the database option price is like for all other products, the catalog will calculate actual products price for these items.
Actual attribute price shown in the dropdown box of the products that are defined to have only one option group showing attributes with their model number included for easier ordering with suppliers.
The price in the top right corner is marked with "Starting" for this product group.
